Movie Review: Left wing media will praise this film.
I bet if you go on to Rotten Tomatoes, you will see many left-wing publications praising this film. Aren’t you glad you have us here? Bypassing the noise and BS pushed by the media.
In what strange reality does this writer live in? The writer of this screenplay is obviously distorting U.S. policies from the 80’s. It’s another attempt to create a false
narrative about President Reagan, but I’ll get into that in the LSE section of this review.
“American Made” is about a TWA pilot named Barry Seal (Tom Cruise) who gets recruited by the CIA to run surveillance on certain Central American countries. As he does work for the
CIA, he meets members of a drug cartel who realize he is an expert pilot and his skill as a pilot could be valuable. The lure of money and adventure entices him and he ultimately
decides to transport drugs by plane for the cartel, all the while, also working for the CIA. Tons of money starts pouring in, and he and his family starts living the lavish lifestyle.
I am not going to give away spoilers, but the gist of the story is his learning to interact with multiple powerful entities.
Seal's life does grab your attention from the beginning; the movie does a good job of captivating the audience early. Seal reminds me of the character Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese
"Goodfellas." Even though Hill and Seal are both doing illegal activities, you tend to sympathize with them while watching the movie. Even if you don’t agree with their lifestyle,
you are enthralled by their story, and entertained by their choices. You never lose interest in the movie and the pacing of the movie was well done.
The main reason why the movie was engaging is because of the performance by Tom Cruise. Cruise did a great job – actually, all the actors did a great job.
The technical aspects of the film were also well done. The aviation scenes were actually fun to watch. I didn’t think simple shots of airplanes were going to be engaging but it worked.
The politics and facts of this movie were distorted, but the movie does enough to entertain you.

Director: Doug Liman Cast: Tom Cruise, Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright.
The producers and director have donated to leftist organizations or politicians. It is quite obvious where their politics stand. Some of the producers have been vocal for their causes.
Nothing wrong with that, but this movie was a bad attempt to implement their ideology on the masses, and for that - these guys deserve to have their film boycotted. Seriously.
Tom Cruise has gone crazy a few times. I do give praise to Cruise for his work ethic. When he is on the job, he works tremendously hard. He loves doing his own
stunts and is a good person to work with – well, that’s what people report. He is obviously a leftist, and has donated money to left wing causes, but he doesn’t
seem to go out of his way to bash right wingers. I’ve got no problem with Cruise.
The rest of the actors have not been caught bashing the right.

Leftist Social Engineering (LSE)
The LSE is nuts in this movie! They really distort the facts in this movie. The writer and director are trying to be subtle with their LSE, but it failed, and they
bring it right to the forefront. It will influence young leftists, but anyone who knows politics, will pick up on these LSE attempts easily. They even try to use
President Carter in the beginning of movie to virtue signal. This is Carter, come on, one of the least effective President’s in U.S. history!
They try to make Southerners look stupid, and they do this through the portrayal of Seal's brother in law and at times, Seal's wife.
They try to create a narrative that President Reagan was a fake and that his administration was full of corrupt, sinister, bad guys.
They try to make the CIA look like an evil entity. (I guess this can go either way depending on your feelings about the CIA and its connections with the “Deep State.”)
That immoral behavior is shown at times to be completely just.
That Right-Wing ideology is the cause of virtually all problems, in most parts of the world.
It was an attempt to mock the Right by the writer and director.
There is more to be said about their take on the 80’s politics, culture and morality; but I think you are getting the idea already.
ReeYaa Score = High
The film makers attempt to social engineer the audience will be the deciding factor for you. For me, this deserves a boycott because they are
trying to play the audience intentionally and distort the facts about the past. If you are going to inject politics into your movie, you better get it right.
The film is entertaining enough and if you don’t mind the false narrative, then go for it. I would recommend waiting for Red Box.
