Movie Review: If you love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you will love this movie.
Here comes another Marvel movie. If you are not familiar with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), you may be confused at some parts of the film. “Thor: Ragnarok” is a fun
and entertaining movie - yes - it’s that simple. It can seem childish at times but you can tell that the creative team is trying really hard to entertain you. There are many moments during the film when you will laugh or smile. It’s not a perfect
movie at all – not even close – but the MCU formula has been successful for a reason and Ragnarok maintains that formula but also adds a few more personal touches.
The story is simple – Hela, the main evil protagonist wants to rule Asgard and Thor wants to protect his home. His journey introduces new characters and he also runs into old friends.
The characters interaction is what makes this movie enjoyable and all are a good addition to the overall story arc of the MCU. The cast did good job and they seemed very natural in their parts,
I feel Chris Hemsworth is getting better with his portrayal of Thor. The action was solid and better than this year’s Spider-Man movie. The technical aspects of the film were all around solid.
You can’t ask for anything less from a Disney/Marvel production. It is another solid chapter in the MCU.
If you are familiar with the MCU then I believe you will enjoy this movie. If you have no interest with the MCU then I feel you will still be entertained. It can be confusing but you will still get some good
laughs and the action scenes do enough to keep you entertained.

Director: Taika Waititi Cast: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo
Mark Ruffalo and Cate Blanchett have virtue signaled before. Ruffalo is actually a very annoying left-wing activist. Blanchet is not as bad but she was critical of President Trump.
Chris Hemsworth has virtue signaled before but he is not vocal when it comes to politics.
Don’t know much about the director or the rest of the cast but I think they haven’t said anything stupid.
Many of the main stars are foreigners. I can see why they don’t like President Trump. They probably watch bias news and that is their main source of information.
Ruffalo is definitely a virtue signaling elitist though.
I can understand if many right-wingers want to boycott this film. It won’t matter though because Comic Book based movies and Star Wars always have a good turn out and is also attended by
many right-wingers. It is probably the only movie that they won’t boycott. These are probably the only movies they watch each year.
*Editors Note - Taika Waititi is from New Zealand and has gone on rants about President Trump.

Leftist Social Engineering (LSE)
I can’t think of any LSE. It’s a comic book movie based on a different planet and galaxy.
